Visit by Elisava Students to the FIT Plant

On June 4, we welcomed a group of second-year students from Elisava’s Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Design Engineering to our manufacturing facilities. The visit was organised as part of the “Computer-Aided Manufacturing Company Project” course, providing students with the opportunity to experience a real industrial environment and gain a deeper understanding of manufacturing processes.

During their time at FIT, the students explored our production processes firsthand and learned about the different finishes, materials and technical details involved in our manufacturing operations. The visit allowed them to connect the concepts studied in the classroom with their practical application in an industrial setting.

At FIT, we are committed to supporting educational initiatives that strengthen the relationship between academia and industry. By opening our facilities to future engineers and designers, we aim to contribute to their professional development and provide valuable insight into the realities of the manufacturing sector.

We would like to thank Elisava for their trust and collaboration in making this educational activity possible. We look forward to continuing to support initiatives that encourage knowledge sharing and help prepare the next generation of professionals for the challenges of industry.
