ISPO ACADEMY BCN 2019

Last 3rd of June we attended the seventh edition of ISPO Academy, in collaboration with AFYDAD  and Barcelona Moda Centre, where we met brands, media and entrepreneurs from the sports sector to discuss the importance of digitalization and circular economy.

The event was held at Barcelona Moda Centre’s premisses in Sant Quirze del Vallès (Barcelona) and, as it is often the case, there was a space dedicated to networking with the aim of strengthening the relations amongst the attendants.

Alex Cucurull (General Manager for Base Detall Sport S.A.) and Fermín Davies (Executive Project Manager for Sportmas) analysed what digitalisation techniques could allow us to improve the selling experience as well as the buying and selling performance. Concepts such as predictive models, machine learning and artificial intelligence were discussed.

On another note, Jordi Olivé Solà (Founding Partner and Executive Director for Inèdit Innovació S.L.) and Albert Medrano (Global Marketing Manager for Original Buff S.A.) looked into the transformation which is now taking place in the business world. They examined how the application of circular economy strategies in our company can create value and make us gain in competitiveness and reduce the environmental impact.

Christoph Rapp (International Sales, Retail Manager de ISPO, and in charge of ISPO Academy) also made his appearance to explain ISPO’s commitment to digitalization and ecofriendliness, two of its main strengths. ISPO’s next edition will be the Outdoor in Munich from 30 June to 3 July

Don’t forget that we will be there at our Duraflex stand (STAND B4 347).
