OTWorldOnAir from 27 to 29 October 2020

This year’s OTWorld was originally scheduled for May 2020. Due to the Covid 19 crisis, it was rescheduled for October and it was suggested that it would be presented in a hybrid format which would provide digital offers and also some on-site events. However, given that the situation is still uncertain with quarantine regulations, local lockdowns and travel warnings, OTWorld’s team has decided to hold the event exclusively online from 27 to 29 October.

The Managing Director of LeipzigerMesse, Martin Buhl-Wagner, explained that they are ready for the challenge of holding a digital event. They see it as an opportunity to integrate various pilot projects to allow the industry to test and develop future-oriented formats.

OTWorld.connect will offer many opportunities for continuing education and knowledge exchange. The Virtual World Congress will count with the participation of more than 250 participants from over 20 countries, who will be invited to an interactive exchange of ideas during the digitally presented program.

In this online version, the political forum for the industry will discuss current topics and innovations from the industry will be presented. Innovative digital showrooms will allow workshops to take place and they will be a great opportunity to present companies.

But this is not all… TAR (technology assisted rehabilitation) conference has been moved forward so that it can take place parallel to OTWorld.connect. Tickets for OTWorld.connect and TAR will be available in October. This format will make sure that you can also experience digital industry innovations free of charge.
