From 27 to 29 October, the digital platform gave us the chance to learn more about the field of prostethics, orthotics, rehabilitation and much more. More than 250 speakers delighted the attendees of the digital fair, coming from over 20 countries and speaking in either German or English. Most of the sessions offered a simultaneous translation which allowed more people to follow the speeches.
Regarding the innovation showrooms presented in the bee hive, more than 50 companies from over 15 countries used them to present their products and innovations. Attendees were able to see what the international market leaders have to offer. In some cases, they could even contact the companies directly via video or chat in their showrooms.
Some people wondered if a digital version of a tradefair could replace all the face to face meetings. While it is true that nothing can replace a handshake, otworld.connect offered a high degree of interaction and allowed attendees to plan well and really focus on their interests. Given the emergency context we are living in, everybody agrees that otworld.connect has been a total success.
