We shut the door to 2020. The year of the pandemic, the year that has taught us a few lessons. This year has made us feel vulnerable, it has reminded us what the most important things in life are and it has made us value the simple things, without taking them for granted.

We welcome this New Year 2021. A new beginning that we trust will bring us new opportunities that we will welcome with enthusiasm and hope. We wholeheartedly hope that this year treats everybody better.

2020 has been a year of unexpected challenges at all levels. We are grateful that all the members of the team are in good health and we hope that all of you reading this and your loved ones are well too.

The fair was held from 16 to 19 November 2020 and it took place entirely online given the current pandemic. However, it still managed to win over their audiences thanks to the high degree of international resonance. Over 1.500 exhibitors from 63 countries took part of the fair and over 45.000 visitors from 169 countries benefitted from that. International online visitors made up 78% of the attendees.

From 27 to 29 October, the digital platform gave us the chance to learn more about the field of prostethics, orthotics, rehabilitation and much more. More than 250 speakers delighted the attendees of the digital fair, coming from over 20 countries and speaking in either German or English. Most of the sessions offered a simultaneous translation which allowed more people to follow the speeches.

Tickets to attend OTWorld are now available!

For 200 euros you can have full access to the entire World Congress and TAR-Conference program. The ticket also includes on-demand access to all the recorded conferences from November 9, 2020 to January 31, 2021.

If one day is enough for you, the price is 100 euros. In this case, you will only be able to attend the conferences of one of the days and you won’t have access to the recorded conferences.

This year’s OTWorld was originally scheduled for May 2020. Due to the Covid 19 crisis, it was rescheduled for October and it was suggested that it would be presented in a hybrid format which would provide digital offers and also some on-site events. However, given that the situation is still uncertain with quarantine regulations, local lockdowns and travel warnings, OTWorld’s team has decided to hold the event exclusively online from 27 to 29 October.

The FIT team will be on holidays from August 3rd to August 23rd.
